Mrs. Adepeju Adebajo

Mrs Adepeju Adebajo holds a Masters and BSC in Chemical Engineering from Imperial College London and an MBA from Harvard Business School. She also holds a certificate in Sustainability Management from SUMAS in Switzerland.

She chairs the Board of the Lagos State Employment Trust Fund and is Transformation Lead at Etex Group (Nigerite and Emenite Limited). She brings over 30 years’ experience across industry, renewable energy, agriculture, finance and consulting. She has worked with teams and clients in Sub-Saharan Africa and Europe, helping them grow and multiply impact.

Throughout her career, Mrs Adebajo has led teams through change and growth. She has been CEO Cement at Lafarge Africa Plc, CEO Mouka Limited, CEO Lumos Nigeria, CEO UTC Nigeria Plc and AGM at UBA Plc.

She started her career as a management trainee at Citibank London and then became a management consultant with Boston Consulting Group, Uk helping well-known companies like NatWest Bank and GlaxoSmithKline navigate change. She founded Pinky Blue Limited, bringing Mothercare UK to Nigeria, and served as Commissioner for Agriculture in Ogun State.

In 2025, she founded Climate Governance Initiative Nigeria, affiliated with the World Economic Forum and serves on the World Economic Forum Council on Climate and Nature Governance (2025-2027).

She has attended executive training programmes at leading business schools, including the Advanced Management Programme at INSEAD, France; the Prince of Wales’s Business & Sustainability Programme (BSP) at the University of Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership, AI for Business Strategy at Massachusetts Institute of Technology Sloan School, the Citibank Management Trainee Programme in London and New York, among others. She has been recognised for leadership by Cranfield University UK, CNBC Africa and Harvard Business School.

Mrs Adebajo is committed to increasing employment and employability, advancing the energy transition, sustainability and mentoring women and is an EMCC Senior Practitioner and Qualified Coach.
